About Silvan Nikuradse
Silvan Nikuradse knows the funds business from product responsibility. From late 2018 to early 2022 he headed investment product management at NFS Netfonds Financial Service GmbH, a subsidiary of the listed Netfonds AG. That role was about exactly the mechanics the Altersvorsorgedepot builds on: which funds and ETFs make it onto the platform, how an account is structured, where costs arise, and how the sales processes behind it work.
He then moved to the media side of the industry: as Senior Key Account Manager at the funds magazine DAS INVESTMENT, and afterwards as Project Lead at Finance Forward, which covers fintech and digital finance products. In parallel, he co-founded purpozed, a SaaS start-up for corporate social engagement. Since June 2026 he has run business development at Alsterspree Verlag.
For Vorsorgedepot-Lotse, he covers the investment side of the Altersvorsorgedepot: which ETF suits an account meant to run for 30 years? What does one percentage point of fees actually cost over that term? Where do the digital account providers genuinely differ? His answers come from the funds industry's product and sales practice — not from the role of an investment adviser.

What Silvan Nikuradse writes about here
On Vorsorgedepot-Lotse, Silvan covers the investment side: which ETFs belong in an account meant to run for 30 years, what actually separates accumulating from distributing funds over that term, and what account, savings-plan and order fees really cost in the end. He also compares the digital account providers — neobrokers, direct banks and platforms — against the criteria that matter for a long investment horizon.
Why Silvan Nikuradse is a trustworthy author
Silvan Nikuradse is credible on investment topics because he spent over three years running investment product management at a funds and account services provider, then worked for two finance titles that assess investment products. He judges fund products, account mechanics and provider communication from his own product responsibility. What stays transparent: he works on the product, sales and media side of the investment industry and does not act as an independent investment adviser. His assessment is not a substitute for specific investment recommendations.
